I hope you'll permit me to be human and express some frustration.

But holy fuck. Things are just terrible all over. A terrible terribleness.

I just feel a swell of frustration over my helpelessness about everything going on in this country. I understand that time will eventually make it all pass. Whether it be 100 years or a thousand years from now, but that does little to mitigate the feeling of horror watching it unfold on a daily basis.

Isn't it crazy how the US president is just a mob boss? If not, he certainly acts like it. Forcing everyone to bend the knee in support of him. And you know the worst part? There hasn't been any pushback. Everyone has bent the knee.

These executives with their boatloads of cash, in their endless chase for more money, they have created a shackle by which they are bound. But it's not really them that gets punished, right? No, if they take the deals, they still make more money than what most of us will ever see in our lives. The ones who get punished are the rest of us as we sit in this slowly decaying society.

It's all rotted to the core. I'd like to say that "This country used to stand for something," but in reality this is what it's always been. It's just that we can see it in crystal-clear 4k quality now. Fuck.

What even is the point? I want nothing in this life. No material goods. I've seen what the world has to offer, and it is nothing good. There's nothing here for me anymore. What is the point?
